AUC offers scholarship opportunities supported by individuals and corporations, to support AUC students who are accepted into an exchange or study abroad program managed by the Office of International Programs and Services at AUC.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible students must be accepted into an exchange or study abroad program managed by the Office of International Programs and Services at AUC.
- Students must meet all of AUC’s study abroad/exchange program requirements.
- Students must hold the Egyptian nationality
- Demonstrate financial need and outstanding academic performance
Scholarship Coverage
- In the case of studying abroad: To cover the difference between the cost of 15 credits at AUC and the host university.
- In case of exchange: To cover part of dorm and board expenses at the host university.

Fund Criteria
- To support AUC undergraduate students to further their education through study, travel, or work in Germany
- This award will support students who clearly demonstrate how their experience at a German university, a German company, or a German artist residence will impact their lives.
- This fund may be used to complete a gap year to travel for an educational endeavor, professional experience, artistic residence, or history-related activities. It may be used to close the difference between other grants to reach the amount needed to attend university.
- The award must support at least two students per year who have demonstrated financial need and have a GPA of at least 3.4
- Eligible students must meet all AUC's requirements for study abroad, including proof of student exchange, internship, or artist residence in Germany.
Scholarship Coverage
- In the case of study abroad: To cover the difference between the cost of 15 credits at AUC and the host university.
- In case of exchange: To cover part of dorm and board expenses at the host university.

The scholarship supports Egyptian undergraduate students who graduated from a government school.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible students must be accepted into an exchange or study abroad program managed by the Office of International Programs and Services at The American University in Cairo (AUC)
- Students must meet all of AUC’s study abroad/exchange program requirements.
- Students must hold Egyptian nationality and have graduated from a government school.
- Awarded for one semester to a student who demonstrates financial need and outstanding academic performance
Scholarship Coverage
The scholarship will partially cover the students' expenses during their study abroad exchange program (such as housing and stipend).

- Students must meet all of AUC’s requirements for the study abroad or exchange program
- Demonstrate academic merit and financial need

The scholarship will cover the student’s expenses during their study abroad experience (such as travel, housing, and stipend).

Through the student exchange program, the Nancy and Jonathan Wolf Study Abroad @College of Charleston Scholarship will support undergraduate and graduate students to study abroad for one semester or one year at the College of Charleston, South Carolina.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible students must be accepted to the exchange program managed by the Office of International Programs and Services at AUC to study at the College of Charleston only.
- Students must meet all of the College of Charleston requirements for the exchange program.
Scholarship Coverage
The awarded amount will be calculated according to the financial need assessment conducted by AUC's Office of Financial Affairs and Scholarships. This amount aims to cover part of the dorm and board expenses at the host university.
