In 2009, AUC received a special award from the Urban Land Institute for the construction and design of its New Cairo Campus, selected from among 39 entries representing 17 countries.
In November 2018, AUC celebrated the 10th anniversary of its New Cairo campus.

Bassily Auditorium (1,255 Seats)
Bassily is the main University auditorium, with two levels in a theater-style tiered fixed seating.
Meeting Rooms (100 or 50 Seats)
Two large meeting rooms accommodate 100 persons each, and two others accommodate 50 each.
Moataz Al Alfi Hall (200 Seats)
The hall is a decorative 550-square-meter flat space with theater-style seating.
Lecture Halls (150 Seats)
Three lecture halls have theater-style tiered fixed seating with folding tables.
Waleed Building P071 (60 Seats)
This multi-purpose conference hall has a lecture-style setting. The seating capacity varies
Mansour Group Lecture Hall
The group includes three lecture halls that accommodate 150 persons each and one that can accommodate 225 persons. All have theater-style tiered fixed seating with folding tables. according to the room setup.
Paul and Charlotte Corddry Park
It includes the outdoor Allam Amphitheater that seats 300 persons. The 15-acre park welcomes visitors with a sheltering date-palm grove that leads up a gradual walkway into generous community meeting spaces, shaded by citrus trees.
University Garden
The University Garden stretches out over 20-acres with fountains and pools of water under a canopy of palms and trees and multiple meeting spaces.
