USAID Partnerships

The USAID Partnerships for Educational Progress Activity is a five-year collaborative program launched in 2023. Implemented by AUC in partnership with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR) and USAID Egypt. The activity aims to enhance the Egyptian higher education system and effectively address the country's economic development priorities.

About the Program

Recognizing the pivotal role of higher education in creating opportunities for graduate students to succeed in the workforce, the activity believes that a collaborative approach can make a lasting impact on the future of higher education in Egypt. Through this activity, USAID will directly support the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research through systems strengthening, capacity building, assessments, and capacity development. USAID will work directly with public Egyptian universities and their administration, faculty, and staff to ensure students access market-relevant, inclusive, high-quality degree programs and support services resulting in smooth transitions to employment.
