Mr. Richard A. Bartlett is a three-time chair of the AUC Board of Trustees (2010, 2013 and 2018) and the first chair emeritus at AUC (2021). He is currently the managing director of Resources Holdings, Ltd., a private equity firm in New York City. Before joining that firm in 1984, he served as a law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Harry A. Blackmun and, before that, as a law clerk on the U.S. Circuit Court for the District of Columbia. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Brookings Council of the Brookings Institution. He serves on the boards of several private companies, including as chairman of Air Wisconsin Airlines Corporation. Bartlett received a BA from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University and a JD from Yale Law School.
