About

The material management unit's role is an integral part of the procurement services cycle, that ensures the following:

  • The American University in Cairo (AUC) and eventually the end user, have received the required goods within the aimed quality, specs and functionality to perform our business
  • Offering support function to provide stock of consumable goods necessary to perform the University daily business
  • Reinforcement of the AUC's financial control on the payment to vendors, suppliers, contactor and such as through ensuring the delivery of goods and services
  • The AUC have received required cost-benefit pay-off of their purchases
  • Empowerment of the AUC's financial governance related to protecting the fixed assets losses or intractability
