Dear AUC Community, 

It is with deep sadness that I share the news that faculty member Benjamin Carter has passed away. Ben joined AUC in 2013 as an instructor in the AUC’s Libraries and Learning Technologies. In addition to teaching in the library, he has also taught Philosophy in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. He was a strong believer in the Liberal Arts, and was active on a wide range of committees including the CORE Advisory and the Academic Integrity Committee. Ben was a cherished member of the AUC community, who was loved by his colleagues and students alike. 

The Library will be arranging a memorial event in the coming days.
