Dear AUC Community,

It is with deep sadness and sorrow to inform you that Sherif El-Kassas passed away today. May his soul rest in peace, and God grant his family and friends strength and patience.

The funeral prayer will take place today after Asr prayer in Moustafa Mahmoud Mosque in Mohandiseen. Transportation is available at 1:15 pm from the drop-off area next to the bus station.

El-Kassas was a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
