Dear colleagues,

It is with deep sadness that we say goodbye to Professor Farouk El Hitami.

Professor El Hitami was a professor emeritus of management. He joined the University in 1966. He held many positions, including Senior Advisor to the University President, Vice President for Student Affairs, Dean of the School of Business, Economics and Communication, Director of the Center for Middle East Management Studies, and Chair of the Department of Management among other roles and responsibilities.

A memorial service will be held by the School of Business on Monday, May 20, 2024 at 12pm at Al Waleed Hall (P071), Prince Al Waleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud Hall to commemorate the life of Professor El Hitami.
