Dear AUC Community,

It is with great pleasure that I inform you of the appointment of Manar Zaki as the new University Registrar. After a thorough international search, we found Ms. Zaki to be the ideal fit for this role due to her extensive experience and expertise. Ms. Zaki has been serving as the Interim Registrar since January and has previously held Assistant and Associate Registrar positions in the Office of the Registrar at AUC for 11 years.

Ms. Zaki holds two MA degrees from AUC in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and Gender and Women’s Studies. Currently, she is pursuing a PhD in Global Public Health. Additionally, Ms. Zaki has served as a faculty member in the Department of English Language Instruction and AUC’s School of Continuing Education. Her diverse academic background as both a student and faculty member at AUC has given her a unique understanding of academic procedures from various angles.

We are confident that Ms. Zaki's vast knowledge, skills, and experience will enable her to provide excellent support to our students and faculty while ensuring that AUC’s academic policies are implemented with equity and fairness. Please join me in welcoming Ms. Zaki to her new role and offering your complete support to her and the Office of the Registrar.
