Dear AUC Community,

Vice President of Advancement and the Americas Bruce Flessner has decided to retire, effective January 15, 2022.

Flessner joined AUC in 2019 and oversees development, alumni relations, the Career Center and AUC’s North America operation. Based in New York, Flessner has worked to enhance the University’s relationship with donors, alumni and academic partners, as well as supporting recruitment in the United States. Joining AUC with more than 35 years of experience in higher education, Flessner has been a key member of AUC’s leadership team.

 In consultation with President-elect Ahmad Dallal, I will be announcing shortly plans for a search for the next Vice President of Institutional Advancement.

Please join me in thanking Bruce for his service to AUC. We wish him the best of luck.
