Scholarships
A limited number of scholarships are available for qualified applicants.
Pay-Your-Own-Way (PYOW) Option
Students not awarded scholarships or those with external funding may choose to self-finance their participation through the Pay-Your-Own-Way (PYOW) option. If you are applying for or have secured outside funding, please select the PYOW option on the application form. All CASA@AUC/CAASIC applicants, regardless of funding status, must follow the same application procedures and will be evaluated uniformly. After the AUC Selection Committee makes its decisions, we will confirm the PYOW status for those who selected it and assess their external funding status.

CASA@AUC Scholarship Coverage
What the CASA@AUC Scholarship Covers:
- Full tuition for 32 credit hours over three semesters: summer, fall, and spring.
- A monthly stipend for 12 months.
- One round-trip economy flight ticket, capped at $1,600. For details on ticket caps for different destinations, email [email protected].
- Visa fees.
- Arrival pickup from the airport.
- Cultural program activities.
What the CASA@AUC Scholarship Does Not Cover:
AUC medical insurance, which is mandatory. Registration for courses is not permitted without proof of insurance. For more information, click here.
Important Note: If a scholar withdraws from the program at any point, they are required to repay the full scholarship amount.
PYOW Candidates Must Agree To:
- Assume full financial responsibility for their participation.
- Adhere to CASA@AUC rules and regulations.
- Recognize this agreement as binding until the program's completion.
The Fulbright Arabic Language Study Grants at CAASIC covers:
Tuition
Educational and cultural program at AUC
Housing (shared accommodations in one of AUC’s housing facilities in Garden City)
International travel
Monthly stipend
Other allowances
For CAASIC Short-Term programs, all applicants are responsible for paying their own tuition, whether they have external funding or are self-financing their participation through the Pay-Your-Own-Way (PYOW) option.
If you are applying for or have secured outside funding, select the PYOW option on the application form. All CAASIC applicants, regardless of their funding status, must follow the same application procedures and will be evaluated in the same way. After the AUC selection committee has made its decisions, we will confirm with those who selected PYOW status and verify their external funding status.
