Students wishing to pursue the MA program in Egyptology-Coptology should meet the minimum academic, language and admission requirements set by AUC.
Learning Outcomes
Students enrolled in this program will:
- Develop the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to explore and preserve ancient Egyptian history.

Uniquely situated in Egypt, the Egyptology/Coptology MA program provides students with unrivaled hands-on experience through internships at the various museums and institutes based in Cairo as well as fieldwork opportunities on groundbreaking archaeological and conservation projects. Moreover, students leave prepared to work in any field that requires critical thinking, clear writing and oral presentation skills and the ability to create innovative solutions to challenges.
