Choosing a career is a challenge for most high-school students; explore the options that best match your skills and discover the latest job trends.

Learn about a variety of career options under the guidance of career experts with years of experience in career advising, hands-on learning, and employer relations. Discover what the job trends are in today’s competitive market, learn what qualities you already possess, and find out what skills you need to establish your brand and achieve your career ambitions. This boot camp takes an experiential learning approach, where you will participate in job shadowing to interact with professionals firsthand. You will learn how to conduct informational interviews and search for practical learning opportunities online and through your networks.

At the end of the boot camp, you will present your personalized career story and an action plan of what you will do next to pursue your identified career. Start your career exploration adventure this summer and gain a clear view of your interests that will help you set up the perfect career plan for you.

Duration and Location

  • August 4 - August 8, 2024 
  • Sessions will run daily from 9 am to 3 pm
  • AUC New Cairo campus
  • Fridays and Saturdays off
  • AUC holidays will be compensated for with extra hours

Fees

  • EGP 3,700
  • The following discounts are offered:
    • 10% discount for siblings
    • 10% discount for AUC faculty and staff
    • 15% discount for AUC alumni

High-school students age 15 - 17 years.

Certification

All the bootcamp participants will receive a certificate of participation from AUC.

Transportation 

The AUC bus service is available for extra fees. Details on the schedule will be shared before the program's start date.

Accommodation is offered at the University Residences in case needed. 

About the Instructors

Caroline Nassar (MA ’15) 

Caroline Nassar is the assistant director at AUC’s Career Center. She holds an MA from AUC in the field of international and comparative education and has worked in many different fields, including education and training. Nassar currently teaches in the Professional Educator Diploma in the Teaching Early Years Learners track. Nassar is a member of the National Career Development Association (NCDA), USA, a certified Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) and Facilitating Career Development (FCD) Instructor.

Maha El Moslemany ’03 

Maha El Moslemany is the senior director at AUC’s Career Center. She is an AUC journalism and mass communication graduate with minors in psychology and business administration. She is passionate about coaching, training and enhancing younger generations’ career preparation tool-kit. El Moslemany is a member of the National Career Development Association (NCDA), USA, Certified Career Services Provider (CCSP) and a certified Facilitating Career Development (FCD) Master Trainer.

AUC Refund Policy

A 100% refund of the program fees will be offered in the following cases. If reported at least three weeks before the program's start date.

  • Visa denial
