Introduction to Psychology
Gain a thorough understanding of the field of human psychology!
The study of psychology enables you to develop insights into human thoughts, behaviors, and feelings and exposes you to various research areas in this popular field of study. This course will help you develop a better understanding of yourself and the people around you, learn how to understand the workings of the mind, and engage in current discussions and issues in the field. You will participate in cognitive assessments, personality tests, film discussions, group activities, and interactive learning sessions, providing you with valuable insights into the world of human psychology. By the end of the course, you will relate your learnings to real-life situations. You will be able to find answers to questions such as: Why do I sometimes procrastinate and what can motivate me to study; why is my friend unhappy and how can he be helped; my niece is a pleasant child, but her brother is very irritable; why my grandfather has become more and more forgetful? What’s wrong with my sister? She’s quite underweight and still looks at the mirror and sees an obese person; how does advertising attempt to manipulate human behavior?. If you would like to learn more about the human mind, join us this summer in this eye-opening psychological journey.
