Summer@AUC Institutes

The American University in Cairo (AUC) offers an intensive in-person academic exploration with a residential experience for professionals, scholars, researchers and postgraduate students. Summer@AUC Institutes provides learners with an in-depth diverse curriculum to align with their interests and help them further their understanding and research in a vibrant academic environment. Students engage in coursework and experiential learning opportunities, attend speaker sessions, work on research projects, and community-based learning throughout the duration of the program.  

This year, AUC announces the Islamic Studies Summer Institute, supporting rigorous investigation and graduate research in the fields of Islamic studies. The institute will delve into the various disciplines in the field, and provide a forum for collaborations, analysis and exploration for students interested in an academically rigorous learning journey in the heart of Cairo.

Duration: Two weeks from July 13 - 25, 2024.

The application deadline is June 15, 2024.
