Bridge the Gap

Bridge the Gap

Build a lasting connection with your children! Learn how to understand the root causes of children’s behaviors, meet their needs, resolve conflicts and set boundaries!

In collaboration with the Heya Masr Foundation, this three-day bootcamp provides parents and educators with useful techniques and resources for addressing children’s needs at different stages of development and resolving behavioral problems constructively. The bootcamp takes parents and educators through an exploration journey of the self and the child. Topics such as child development, identifying root causes of behavioral problems and communicating effectively with children will be covered using interactive methods like art, role-playing and games. Parents and educators will also delve into their own previous experiences that influence their behavior today and learn how to consider these experiences when responding to a child’s needs.

The bootcamp aims to assist educators and parents in improving students' behaviors while creating a safe and engaging environment at home and at school. Over the course of three days, the participants will learn more about themselves and the children in their care and acquire the tools to create a supportive environment that promotes positive behavior and fosters healthy relationships between children and adults.

Note: This bootcamp is offered in Arabic.
