AUC Network Upgrade

Our network solutions have been a stalwart companion for critical functions such as email, event streaming, Zoom calls, and internet access. With the evolving of digital education and technological trends, we are leveraging on enhancing our network services to meet our community needs.

Objective

The Network Upgrade Project is geared towards mitigating risks associated with outdated technology, enhancing support capabilities, and laying the groundwork for future expansion. The project aims to create an agile, adaptive network that ensures seamless application connectivity, consistent security controls, high availability, and end-to-end visibility and policy control.

How Am I Impacted?

A temporary disruption of approximately two hours to the AUC wired and WiFi network connections may occur during the enhancement of affected areas. To minimize interruptions, we’ve carefully selected our dates for the upgrade based on the AUC Academic calendar. We will also do our best to avoid the working hours. Frequent project updates will be sent to inform you about our progress and the expected timeframe for any downtime across our two campuses.

Share Your Dates

Inform us of your plans at least 15 days in advance, by sharing your events or any other academic tasks scheduled until the end of August 2024, so we can plan accordingly.
