AUC’s School of Business Partners With Harvard Business Review Arabia

The School of Business at The American University in Cairo (AUC) and Haykal Media Company (HMC), the publisher of Harvard Business Review Arabia (HBRA) have signed a knowledge partnership agreement for the production and dissemination of research and articles produced by AUC’s School of Business professors in Arabic for business leaders and readers through HBRA.The partnership comes within the efforts of the School of Business to become a research-intensive institution, where faculty members enhance learning through research and support the development of a knowledge-based global community as well as the publisher’s strategy of linking with leading academic institutions in the region as knowledge partners. “This partnerships is in line with a number of AUC’s School of Business knowledge initiatives to disseminate the research and expertise of the AUC faculty throughout the region, especially in channels that would reach practitioners, business community and policy makers,” said Interim Dean Nizar Becheikh, stressing the importance of this new partnership. Within this agreement faculty of the School of Business at AUC will publish articles and academic papers in the Arabic language on an array of topics including the major themes of the School namely entrepreneurship and family business, responsible business and economic development. The partnership also allows for HBRA and AUC’s School of Business to develop joint content and research projects on business and management topics of interest to the region. "HBR Arabia’s mission is to provide Arab readers with the latest research and practices for excellence in management, and part of this research is done within the Arab world in great regional institutions like AUC”, said Hamoud Almahmoud, Editor-in-Chief of HBR Arabia. Almahmoud added, “The regional context is always our main focus at HBR Arabia, and we are pleased to bring to our readers the work of some of region’s top researchers in the region to our readers”. Harvard Business Review Arabia was launched in 2015 by the Abu-Dhabi based Haykal Media. The magazine appears bimonthly and on their website. HBRA highlights the latest business and management research outcomes and targets professionals, academics, managers and consultants working in different business fields. The publication includes contributions from scholars, researchers and thought leaders from reputable universities and business institutions providing their insights and perceptions on contemporary topics.  AUC’s School of Business boasts over six decades of history.
