Fifth Annual International Council for Small Business (ICSB) Academy

AUC's School of Business is hosting the 5th annual International Council for Small Business (ICSB) Academy, from June 15 to 18 at AUC New Cairo. This week-long experience is held in parallel with the ICSB World Congress 2019, held in Cairo from June 18 to 21. 

This program brings students from around the world together for an intensive, week-long experience that will challenge, stimulate and build their entrepreneurial skills. Based on the philosophy that organizations, including businesses, exist to meet the needs of our communities and society, the Academy will emphasize triple bottom line–profit, people and the planet.

This pre-conference program includes 80 international participants ranging from undergraduates to fresh graduates and highschool students. Students will also meet with entrepreneurs from AUC's Venture Lab to learn about their startup experience in Egypt.

ICSB, founded in 1955, is the oldest and largest nonprofit organization devoted to small businesses internationally. Represented in over 85 countries, ICSB is a platform that distributes new knowledge and information on small business management and entrepreneurial development, aiming to promote the growth and development of small businesses worldwide.
