Find Out Catalyst for Change Award Winners at University Forum Today
For the third consecutive year, winners of the President's Catalyst for Change award will be announced at the University Forum to be today, Sunday, May 25, at 1:00 pm in Moataz Al Alfi Hall. All members of the AUC community are welcome to attend.
The awards, which were introduced in 2012, recognize exceptional AUC employees who have helped advance the mission of the University by performing remarkably in one of the four pillars that represent AUC’s institutional priorities –– Citizenship and Service, Innovation and Impact, Outreach and Access, and Management with Sustainability and Integrity.
The awards recognize AUC employees, either as individuals or as teams, who go beyond the scope of their assigned duties to improve life in the AUC community, whether by finding new and innovative ways to tackle problems and increase efficiency; or working to enhance operations in their units and make their departments more accessible; or demonstrating integrity and commitment to sustainable practices.
Last year’s awardees were selected from across the University’s spectrum of departments and offices and included the Employability and Career Development Centers Project Team, who received the Outreach and Access award; the Construction Services Team, who received the Management with Sustainability and Integrity award. Karam El Killany, warehouse associate, the Special Commission on Conduct and the Documentation Committee were all recipients of the Citizenship and Service award.
