Last Day to Submit Nominations for Catalyst for Change Award

Nominations for the 2014 President’sCatalyst for Change awards are open until Monday, May 5. All members of the AUC community may submit nominations to the Office of the President by filling in a nomination formelectronically or delivering ahard copy to the president’s office. Nomination forms are alsoavailable in Arabic.

The winners will be announced at the University Forum on Sunday, May 25 at 1 pm in Moataz Al Alfi Hall.

The awards, which were initiated two years ago, recognize staff members who have gone beyond the scope of their assigned duties to serve the University community, make their unit more accessible and efficient, and/or demonstrate commitment to environmental, social and fiscal responsibility.

There are four categories for the awards: Citizenship and Service, Innovation and Impact, Outreach and Access, and Management with Sustainability and Integrity. A staff member (levels one through nine) and manager (levels 10 through 16) will be recognized within each category, either individually or in teams.
