Undergraduate Commencement Speaker: Azza Fahmy

Famed jewelry designer Azza Fahmy was the keynote speaker and honorary degree recipient at the undergraduate commencement ceremony. She is a distinguished ambassador of Egyptian culture and arts, as well as one of Egypt’s most influential women.

Graduate Commencement Speakers: Hind and Nadia Wassef

AUC alumnae and co-founders of Diwan Bookstore, Hind Wassef '92, '95 and Nadia Wassef '94, '96, were the speakers at the graduate commencement ceremony. Their popular Diwan bookstores are the first in Egypt to sell books for children and adults in English, Arabic, French and German.
