Research Week

AUC Research Week is a collective event which brings together diverse research activities that have demonstrated growth and success over the years. Its aim is to enhance knowledge-sharing, interdisciplinary research collaboration, and projects of community and/or economic value. It is an event that highlights AUC’s strategic priorities, strengthens research capacity and explores critical regional and global issues.
AUC faculty, graduate and undergraduate students showcase and share the outcomes of original research and innovation in the sciences, humanities, social sciences, business and the arts. They demonstrate the breadth and depth of the institution’s research mission. AUC Research Week is a celebration of excellence in University research, entrepreneurship and creative achievement.

The Annual AUC Research Conference invites graduate student and faculty research submissions Communities Conceptualized: A Conference on the Definitions, Perspectives, and Approaches to Community.
EURECA Conference
The Annual Conference for Excellence in Undergraduate Research, Entrepreneurship and Creative Achievement (EURECA) is an opportunity for students to present their best discipline-based research work.
Faculty Research Pitch Competition
Faculty from all disciplines are invited to present a two-minute pitch and an optional single static PowerPoint slide of a new product, research idea or invention to a panel of judges.
Student Research Poster Competition
This competition invites undergraduate and graduate students to present their research using posters.
Academy of Liberal Arts Symposium
The Academy of Liberal Arts (ALA) is committed to delivering a high quality and transformative educational experience for students to help them become globally engaged citizens.
Problem-based Learning Institute
This is a CLT event in collaboration with the University of Delaware. This intensive 2-day workshop experience is open to all faculty and facilitated by international experts in the field of problem-based learning from the University of Delaware for STEM and other fields.
First-year Research Experience Panels
The First-Year Research Experience (FYRE) panels feature oral presentations by freshman students who have completed research-based projects in any 1000-level course.

This is a day event within Research Week celebrating faculty and student creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship.
