The School of Oriental Studies and Oriental Hall were added to the palace in 1932. Oriental Hall is decorated in the neo-Mamluk revival style and is frequently used for receptions, press conferences, performances, lectures, film screenings, workshops, and meetings.

Oriental Hall is a flat venue, so it can accommodate different setups: The theater-style setup with a capacity of 120 persons, the board-meeting style with a maximum capacity of 36 persons, and the dinner-style with a capacity of 48 persons. The hall can accommodate a translation booth inside the hall and a buffet in the hall’s foyer.
