Faces of UCCD
Nada Tarek, Kafr El-Sheikh University
“Volunteering at UCCD helped me grow out of my shyness and explore my potential on professional and personal levels. I explored my leadership skills and became a confident public speaker thanks to the Employability Skills course. I also learned how to market for my handicrafts business and enhance my services. UCCD supported me in improving my presentation skills and polishing my resume when I was nominated for the Ideal Student Competition, and due to their efforts, I gave a confident presentation and became the Ideal Student of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine for the year 2023.”
Mohamed Samir, Kafr El-Sheikh University
“I didn’t enjoy interacting with people, so volunteering at UCCD was a challenge at first but it soon became my comfort zone. The UCCD experience helped me overcome my social anxiety and I found myself valuing cooperation through interactive learning rather than just listening to information. The Employability Skills course raised my awareness to start viewing things from various perspectives rather than just my own, it also brought my attention to multiple misconceptions I used to believe. UCCD and the course improved my self-confidence, which encouraged me to keep developing myself and always strive for the best.”
Manar Mohamed, Assuit University
“One of the most enlightening things that happened to me at UCCD was learning about the different types of personalities and how to interact with them. I used to be the type of person who avoided social gatherings, so this knowledge empowered me to navigate various social situations with ease.”
Mariam Shawky, Tanta University
“UCCD was a turning point for me. Since my accessories brand is an online page and not displayed in an actual boutique, I was challenged in terms of marketing. UCCD helped me in learning more about marketing strategies and how to efficiently and effectively deal with my clients.”
