Visual Arts - Minor
Program Overview
AUC’s broad-based liberal arts education allows you to diversify your learning with a minor or two — helping you develop skills complementary to your primary area of study and demonstrating to potential employers that you have range.
Unleash your creativity with the visual arts minor. This program provides a conceptual introduction to the world of visual arts, with a focus on art history, theory and studio practices. From painting to sculpture, you will explore a variety of techniques and mediums. We encourage students to declare the minor early in their academic career, giving them ample time to complete necessary prerequisites and benefit from our comprehensive curriculum. Once you declare the minor, you'll have the opportunity to meet with the program director for an advising session.
Degrees and Admission Requirements
Students wishing to pursue a minor in Visual Arts should meet the minimum academic and admission requirements set by AUC.
