Experiential Learning

Some of the most valuable learning experiences happen outside of the classroom. Your support can help AUC provide its students with experiential learning opportunities that shape their characters and contribute to their personal and professional development. Your gift will enable students to explore the world and gain real-life experience through study-abroad programs, global competitions, internships and more. By giving to these programs, you can help fund travel expenses, program fees and other resources that enable students to immerse themselves in new cultures, develop their skills and build valuable connections with peers and professionals around the world. Contributing to experiential learning can make a real difference in helping AUC students become global citizens and leaders in their fields.

Experiential Learning Funds and Programs

 

AUC’s liberal arts education develops critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and civic engagement, and the numerous opportunities for AUC students to represent their University abroad.

You can support AUC students to engage in cross-disciplinary challenges and competitions in Egypt and abroad, embark on study abroad experiences for a semester or a year, and even go on an internship abroad. You can also enable international students to come to AUC and learn about Egyptian culture, history, and language.

 

Study Abroad Scholarship Fund

Supports international students interested in studying at AUC for a semester or a year and exploring the Egyptian culture.

 

Iman Elshahidi Study Abroad Endowed Scholarship Fund

Supports AUC Egyptian students to embark on their study abroad experience.

 

Internships Abroad Scholarship Fund

Established to provide travel expenses and/or stipend to deserving students who landed internships abroad.

 

Innovative Learning Program

Complements student education with experiential learning through industry engagement, challenges, and competitions.
