Two alumni, who were Study Abroad students at the American University in Cairo (AUC) in 2008, Lexi Shereshewsky and Demetri Blaisdell created The Syria Fund, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping Syrian refugees affected by the ongoing crisis.
