Latest Updates
AUC receives ISO 41001 and ISO 9001 Certifications
AUC is the first University in North Africa to receive the ISO 41001 international certification for facility management in recognition of its operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, maintenance of safety standards and environmental sustainability. AUC also received the ISO 9001 certification for quality management. Congratulations to the facilities and operations maintenance team!

Shereen Shaker Mikhail
Vice President
Vice President Shereen Shaker’s responsibilities include overseeing facilities management, campus buildings, and operations, including project planning, design, and construction, campus services, faculty housing and transportation, events management, food services, security, environmental health and safety, travel and business support, medical services and sustainability.
Shereen Gomaa Saafan
Senior Director
Shereen Safaan manages all activities and communication related to the Office of the Vice President for Management and Operations and provides consultative support to other offices within the vice president for management and operations area. She has worked on diverse projects related to new initiatives in the area involving operations, human resources, security, campus services, transportation, and others and ensures their successful transition to administration by relevant offices.
Rola Amr Haroun
Executive Assistant to Vice President
Rola Amr Haroun is responsible for overseeing and facilitating all activities, logistics, and communications with different offices in the AUC community. She is accountable for supporting the North America office and managing a number of projects/initiatives in the operations area. She carries out other duties, including all financial and administrative work for the office, as well as facilitates coordination with all the vice president’s direct reports.
