English and Comparative Literature - Minor

Development Studies - Minor

A minor in development studies will introduce you to the various social, political, economic and cultural factors related to the process of development. The approach is interdisciplinary and comparative, with a primary emphasis on development-related issues. The Anthropology and Sociology units of the Department of Sociology, Egyptology and Anthropology provide academic advising for this program on behalf of an interdisciplinary group of faculty.

Coptic Study - Minor

Offerings from Political Science, Religion, Art History, History, and more, are included where appropriate.

The community development and organizing minor includes hands-on community-based experiences to initiate your professional development in an applied setting, where you’ll enhance your understanding of the relevance and role of community and personal empowerment in response to population needs. The practicum model is designed to provide you not only with skills and techniques, but also opportunities for inquiry, for trying and testing new ideas within collaborative relationships, and for engaging community development in new ways.

Behavioral Neuroscience - Minor

Graduating with a minor in behavioral neuroscience and a degree in psychology, biology, or other majors offers an excellent foundation for admission to graduate or professional programs, mainly for careers involving research, teaching, medicine, consulting and the pharmaceutical industry.
