About Us
The Office of Facilities and Operations consists of a team of over 600 skilled facilities professionals in three functional areas, who are focused on excellent customer services. The responsibilities can be divided into three main categories: administration, facilities and operations.
Administration
The Office of the Associate Vice President is responsible for the overall operation of the facilities and operations department for both AUC New Cairo and AUC Tahrir Square. The office of the AVP is located in the physical plant administration building.
Administrative support provides administrative, accounting and operational support to all the units within facilities and operations. Materials management and tunnel operations facilitate the movement of goods and equipment in support of facilities and operations and University functions. They are located in the Physical Plant Compound.
The Facilities and Operations Service Center (FOSC) is the focal point for acquiring any service from the various departments within facilities and operations, including housing, catering, event scheduling (for both campuses), bus and parking passes, car pool reservations, and key access issuance and return. Every effort will be made to process your request in a timely and professional manner. To accomplish this, we ask that you contact the service center with your needs and avoid calling the individual Facilities or Operations offices. This will allow us to properly document and process your request as well as provide accurate and reliable answers to your questions. The service center is located on the garden level of the Administration Building, room G-005. It is open daily, Sunday through Thursday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
