AUC students are required to familiarize themselves with the policies and procedures of studying abroad.
Policies and Forms
Students that decide to defer or cancel their participation in a study abroad exchange program must acknowledge the following:
- They are required to complete the Deferral/Cancellation form no later than a week before AUC’s classes start. Failure to do so will result in AUC tuition charges and dropping any registered AUC classes in Banner.
- Students can only defer their participation for up to one semester at the same university (if the partnership between AUC and the host university is still valid and active).
- If students cancel their participation, but still want to participate in a study abroad program later, they must reapply during the next available application cycle.
- Refunds of AUC tuition or student fees from their host university are not applicable if students do not complete their semester abroad.
